European Vacation 2007 - Lichtenstein

We made it to Lichtenstein one day. This was a small country we could drive across in little time.

We stopped, bought chocolate, and walked around the town center.

European Vacation 2007 - Germany (Black Forest)

One of the many places we visited was the Black Forest in Germany. The area was beautiful! We had lots of fun visiting with cousins, brothers, sisters, etc.

We went down the mountain in alpine slides, hiked to waterfalls (The highest in Germany) and had a great time.

European Vaction 2007 - France's Maginot Line

One of the highlights of our trip was a visit to the Maginot Line. While there we were given a wonderful tour of one of the last working turrets.

The French Reserves were also practicing, and allowed our family to have our picture taken with them. They were wonderful! We have many great memories from this trip.

We stopped by France and visited a stronghold in Bitch. French soldiers were able to keep this fortress while enemy's camped around.


It didn't fall until close to the end of the war. (As I remember).

European Vacation 2007 - Luxenburg

This year we went to Europe for vacation and visited Matt and Jen Hammond who are living in Germany.

We got lost on the way to the cemetary. Matt and his family waited for hours for us to arrive.

We rented a wonderful place on the thin island of Longboat Key. We could walk to the Sarasota bay or the Gulf of Mexico in minutes.

A day at Hilton Head

We love visiting Hilton Head, SC. We go to the beach, ride bikes, fly kites, and view the stars in the clear skies.

This trip was one when the boys were younger and their cousin, Rachael, and Granny came to visit.

On this trip Conner learned to ride a bike.

As we go back, we try to get a picture with all three boys on the tree again.
